ARABIC LANGUAGE

I would like to welcome everyone back to Term 4, 2020.

I’d like to thank all the parents and families for being so wonderful. You have undertaken this challenge of remote learning very well and you have done an amazing job using MyEdOnline, Direct Messages and Seqta Learn. You should all be proud of the hard work you’ve accomplished during this term with all the changes we had to face as well.

It has been so pleasing to see all students back with a big smile on their faces ready to spend time with their friends.

In Arabic, the Year Ones are continuing to practise sounding out the Arabic letters and tracing the alphabet as their writing task. This term we will still work on learning the days of the week and we are currently working on sounding out more letters and making words using those letters. Students have been working on days of the week and placing the days in order in the correct place and writing in the missing days. Students are making great progress. Their goal for Term 4 is to continue to write using the lines as their guide and sounding out the letters correctly.
